Kid, 10, tested over "terrorist" botch |
A 10-year-old Muslim kid has been addressed by British
police in the north of England after erroneously writing in an English lesson
that he lived in a "terrorist house", the BBC reports.
The kid had expected to compose that he lived in a
"terraced" house yet educators did not understand he had made a
mistake and reported the kid to the police as per new counter-terrorism rules,
which pundits say are centered around Muslim groups.
Police met the kid and analyzed a PC at the family home.
The family has requested an expression of remorse from both the police and the
school, the BBC said on Wednesday.
"They shouldn't be putting a tyke through this, the
BBC cited the kid's cousin as saying. To secure the character of the tyke, the
BBC did not give names in its report.
He's currently frightened of composing, utilizing his
creative energy," the cousin was cited as saying.
